How to find us:
Coordinates 33° 57,78 ' S, 18° 44,64' E
from Stellenbosch:
Leave Stellenbosch towards Kuils River (first on
the R310, then becoming the M12) and go all straight for 12 km past
Neethlingshof and later Kanu wine farm, till you see the Polkadraai strawberry
farm stall on your right. Drive further for another 500m, and on top of the
hill, you will see our road sign “Bein Wine Cellar” in the middle of the
road. Follow this sign and turn right and immediately right again into the old
Polkadraai road, and there we are!
From Cape Town, Somerset,
or Paarl:
Go via the N1 or N2 onto the R300. Take the Stellenbosch Arterial road off
ramp. Follow this road towards Stellenbosch over four sets of traffic lights.
Continue this Road, passing Saxenburg on your left hand side, until you reach
the top of the first hill. There you will see our little green road sign
“Bein Wine Cellar” in the
middle of the road. Follow this sign and turn left and immediately right again
into the old Polkadraai road, and there we are. (Just make sure, that you
don’t miss the entrance to the Old Polkadraai Road; it is announced by a
special road sign “concealed entrance” – should you come to the
Polkadraai Farm Stall on your left, you went too far.) |
